Worship is our spiritual offering to God where we encounter the risen Lord through prayer, music, scripture, sermon, and sacrament in a heartfelt gathering. Through worship, we are sent to serve the Lord and glorify God in all we do. It is our aim to provide creative, interactive worship that reaches across the generations to unite children, youth and adults in faith and joy, care and concern, wisdom and guidance. The service features both traditional hymns with organ accompaniment and contemporary praise music. Visitors and guest can count on being warmly welcomed in this community of faith. Children are welcome and receive a message just for them (though adults hear it, too) prior to the sermon and their dismissal to Children’s Church. Children also take up our “Noisy Offering” the fourth Sunday of the month, collecting change for use in the Deacon’s ministry to those in need.
Many of our visitors return to become lifelong friends and active members, having been blessed by through such a sincere and inviting worship service. Worship is the primary place from which our faith, service, compassion, and praise flow into our homes, school, workplaces, community and beyond. |
