Adults and children of all ages have the opportunity to participate in music at First Presbyterian Church Music for children and youth is provided in the worship skills class of the LOGOS program. They have the opportunity to sing, participate in musicals and skits, play hand chimes and hand bells, or use their own musical instruments for special numbers. The children and youth participate in worship at least once a month.
The Chancel Choir has begun rehearsing the cantata. If you would like to sing with us and not make a fulltime commitment to the Choir, please contact Rick Gilpin at 816-835-5808 or e-mail gilpin816@att.net or come to rehearsal on Wednesday, at 7:45 p.m.
Praise Team performs every Sunday morning at the Contemporary Worship service and they rehearse at 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday evenings. Nursery is provided.

We will be organizing a Drama Team of youth and adults to provide short skits during our worship services on occasion that will enhance the scriptures and Pastor Dave's messages. Musicians Needed! Would you or someone you know be able to volunteer their talent to provide accompaniment for hymns, choir anthems, or assisting the Praise Team? Particularly needed are individuals that could donate their talent in playing a brass, woodwind, string or percussion instrument as well as an electric bass and piano.
