The Chocolate Festival is Saturday, February 5, 1:00-4:00 p.m., at Westminster Hall. Please check out the poster in the Parlour and sign-up to bring chocolate goodies! The alternate date in case of inclement weather is Saturday, February 12. Proceeds from the festival go to help fund the Senior High trip to Estes Park , Colorado . Your help with this fundraiser is greatly appreciated!
Those who have volunteered desserts and/or silent auction items, may bring them to Westminster Hall on Friday, February 4, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. For those of you who are baking goodies there are forms on the table in the Parlour to be filled out listing the ingredients. This is important for our sugar-free, egg-free, nut-free, and gluten-free friends. All volunteers in any capacity please know that you are very much appreciated!
Plan now to join us Sunday, March 20th at 5:00 p.m. for Faith and Family day with the Missouri Mavericks; tickets go quick. There will be a post game Christian concert and post game skate on the ice. The game is at the Independence Events Center . Parking is free. Tickets are $11. Handicap seats are available but extremely limited at a cost of $15 for club level or $35 on the glass.
Harvesters Work Day – The work day for March is scheduled for Saturday, March 5. Everyone is welcome to join us for this morning of fellowship as we do various tasks to help Harvesters feed the hungry. Meet at Westminster Hall by 8:30 a.m. to car pool. The Readers Corner – Our book for January is Winter Solstice. When you have completed your book, please return it to the church office and mark your name off the Check-Out list. We will be discussing this book at 10:00 a.m., February 4, in the Truman Room . Please join us!

We will be organizing a Drama Team of youth and adults to provide short skits during our worship services on occasion that will enhance the scriptures and Pastor Dave's messages.
